Briefly presents the heat release characteristics of air compressors. Combined with the engineering examples of thermal power plants in severe cold and cold zones in recent years, mainly describes two kinds of heat balance modes by data processing and computational analysis. Considers that under the condition of air compressor room equipment heat release capacity meeting the ventilation thermal compensation amount of air compressor suction, the thermal balance of winter ventilation depends on energy efficiency of air compressors and outdoor design temperature for heating; under the condition of air compressor room equipment heat release capacity unsatisfying the ventilation thermal compensation amount of air compressor suction, it should consider three main influencing factors including the energy efficiency of air compressors, the gas production per unit building area and meteorological data of project site. Compiles the calculation lists to provide the reference to the professionals in the early design stage of winter ventilation and heat balance for air compressor rooms.
